Cor Jesu College welcomed a delegation from St. Peter’s School of Sam Phran, Thailand, for a two-week inbound mobility programme held from September 27 to October 11, 2026. Comprising three faculty members and seven students from Grades 8, 9, and 12, the delegation participated in academic and cultural activities designed to promote intercultural learning, global competence, and international collaboration.
The programme formally opened on September 28 with a campus tour, an opening ceremony, and a Filipino food experience facilitated through the institution’s academic community. These activities introduced the visiting delegates to the college environment and provided opportunities to experience Filipino hospitality and culture.
Beyond campus, the delegation joined the Grand Community Day activities in the adopted community of Saliducon, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur, on September 29. The programme also included visits to local destinations in Davao City and Digos City, where the delegates experienced the region’s cultural attractions, local traditions, and community life. A pottery-making activity in Matti, Digos City, further enriched their cultural immersion.
On October 9, the delegation took part in sustainability talks where representatives from both institutions shared sustainability challenges and practices in Thailand and the Philippines. The discussions provided a platform for exchanging perspectives and exploring shared commitments to sustainability. The day concluded with closing ceremonies featuring reflections from the visiting students and teachers, cultural performances, and the presentation of certificates and tokens.
Through this inbound mobility programme, Cor Jesu College and St. Peter’s School of Sam Phran strengthened their partnership through meaningful academic, cultural, and sustainability-focused exchanges. The initiative reflects the value of international engagement in fostering mutual understanding, broadening educational perspectives, and building connections across communities and cultures.
