COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

The College of Engineering and Technology commits itself to the development of the potential of each individual that they may be able to demonstrate a service orientation in one’s profession, participate in various types of employment, development activities, and public discourses, particularly in response to the needs of the communities one serves, participate in the generation of new knowledge or in research and development projects, and equip with the competencies to support “national, regional and local development plans”; and preserve and promote the Filipino historical and cultural heritage

Program Offerings

This program leads to a profession that applies the basic principles of science in conjunction with mathematical and computational tools to solve problems associated with developing and sustaining civilized life on our planet. A graduate of the Civil Engineering program has the ability to:

  • provide civil engineering solutions to problems in accordance to laws and industry standards.
  • articulate expertise to individuals and teams of diverse cultural and interdisciplinary backgrounds that work together in a dynamic environment.
  • integrate life-long learning in the practice of civil engineering discipline.

This program is a branch of engineering that integrates available and emerging technologies with knowledge of mathematics, natural, social and applied science to conceptualize, design, and implement new, improved, or innovative electronic, computer and communication systems, devices, goods, services and processes. A graduate of the Electronics Engineering program should be able to:

  • Impart essential knowledge, elements, tools and skills necessary to become successful engineers;
  • Develop the ability to recognize, formulate and solve electronics engineering problems; and
  • Contribute a meaningful experience in research and design that are relevant to the electronics-engineering field.

This is a program that embodies the science and technology of design, development, implementation, maintenance and integration of software and hardware components in modern computing systems and computer-controlled equipment. A graduate of the Computer Engineering program should be able to:

  • Apply skills and knowledge that meets local and global demands;
  • Develop ability to adopt new opportunities in the advancement of technologies with respect, kindness and value of compassion as inspired by the Sacred Heart of Jesus;
  • Promote professional activities in respond to the needs of the Environment they associate.
