“Sugilambong is considered as an important activity because it gives importance to the students who have special talents in different areas such as stage play, music, instruments, etcetera. So why do we not consider that as important? You’re important. Without the students, there is no Cor Jesu College; it exists because of you,” iginiit ni Br.
Cor Jesu College proudly celebrates a significant academic milestone as two of its faculty members and librarians from the College of Computing and Information Sciences successfully earned their Doctor in Management, Major in Leadership Organization, from Liceo de Cagayan University. This achievement reflects their dedication to professional growth, research excellence, and commitment to advancing knowledge in their respective fields.
Among the new doctorate holders is Dr. Eva Carla F. Gadia, whose research explored sectarian school culture, cultural diversity, and openness toward LGBTQ+ communities within educational institutions. Her work received multiple recognitions, including Best Oral Presenter at the 3rd Nemesio Prudente International Research Conference, Best Research Paper at the 2025 Research Conference on Gender Equality, Diversity, and Social Inclusion and Education, and a Top Finalist distinction at the 8th International Higher Education Research Forum (IHERF) 2025, where it was also recognized as a Promising Research Paper.
“Our gym is already deteriorating, and Sugilambong generates income that can be used to start the renovation, and that is important because the gym is an important facility of the school, where activities of the students, parents, and alumni are conducted, be it sports, social, cultural or academic activities,” ayon kay Br.
“We do this wholeheartedly because we want to really give the message to the people that we need to stand for truth and we need to make a stand to inform people of the importance of accountability, the importance of transparency in our country,” ayon kay Ginoong Jan Raymar O. Rosales, technical director ng palabas.
