STEM Students Earn Honors at PSYSC STEM EXPO 2026

Cor Jesu College Basic Education Department (CJC-BED) Senior High School delegates from the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) strand showcased their research projects in the Research Conference event of the Philippine Society of Youth Science Clubs (PSYSC) STEM EXPO 2026 held at University of the Philippines – Diliman campus in Quezon City on May 9-10. The Cor Jesian participants exemplified excellence as they not only represented the school but also reaped recognition of renowed university professors for their studies.

The delegates, led by research coordinator, Mr. Cleford Jay Bacan, MaEd-MT, brought home bronze and silver medals. Maxienne Lamanilao, Ina Divinagracia, and Emmanuel Maleon secured 2nd place in the ResearchCon Applied Sciences category, while Mari Cabaobao and Kate Payan took 3rd place in Life Sciences.

The students’ achievements were recognized during the CJC-BED SHS graduation rites on May 15, 2026 as they received special awards for research, outstanding performance in science and technology, and outstanding performance in innovation.
