Digos City, Philippines — September 25, 2025 — Cor Jesu College, Inc. welcomed administrators and faculty members from St. Peter’s College of Toril, Inc. for a benchmarking activity aimed at gaining insights into CJC’s academic practices and institutional best practices.
The delegation expressed their interest in learning from the experiences of Cor Jesu College, particularly in the following areas: academic practices, immersion programs, linkages, industry partnerships, technology integration, laboratories, and research. Their focus included the College of Education, Arts, and Sciences — specifically the Teacher Education programs (BSED, BEED, BPED) and the Criminal Justice program — as well as the College of Accountancy, Business, and Entrepreneurship.
During the visit, which took place from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, the visitors were warmly received by CJC administrators. Part of the activity also included a campus tour around the Norbert Building, where the delegation was introduced to CJC’s learning facilities and innovations.
The visitors noted Cor Jesu College’s recent achievement of Autonomous Status granted by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) as an inspiration for their own institutional development. They emphasized that this benchmarking experience would help them evaluate their strategies and identify opportunities for growth in their own programs.
