Legacy College of Compostela Benchmarks Cor Jesu College’s Best Practices in Institutional Excellence

Cor Jesu College welcomed administrators and representatives from Legacy College of Compostela, Inc. on June 30, 2026, for a benchmarking activity aimed at strengthening institutional systems and advancing quality assurance initiatives in preparation for accreditation.

The visit served as an opportunity for Legacy College to gain valuable insights into Cor Jesu College’s established policies, frameworks, and best practices that have contributed to its sustained commitment to academic excellence and institutional quality.

During the benchmarking activity, discussions centered on key areas aligned with accreditation standards, including leadership, quality assurance, financial resource management and sustainability, human resource development and management, teaching and learning, student services and holistic support systems, library services and learning resource management, laboratory facilities and operations, external relations, linkages and community engagement, and research productivity, innovation, and institutional results.

Recognizing Cor Jesu College as a model of institutional excellence, Legacy College sought to learn from the College’s experiences and strategies in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and maintaining high standards of quality education. The exchange of ideas and best practices provided meaningful opportunities for professional dialogue and institutional learning between the two educational institutions.
