Employees of Cor Jesu College took part in a meaningful Lenten recollection held on March 13 and 19, 2026, at the Sacre Cuore Hotel Conference Hall (HE Training Center). The recollection began with an opening prayer that included Scripture readings and moments of silent reflection, setting a contemplative tone for the gathering.
The session was facilitated by Rev. Fr. Melchor Camiña, SLL, of San Isidro Labrador Parish, who centered his reflection on the theme: “Lenten Recollection: A Call to Holiness as Educators and Catalysts of Human Transformation.” In his talk, he emphasized the vital role of educators as instruments of hope and transformation, especially in the lives of the young.
Participants listened attentively and actively engaged in the session, with several sharing their personal insights and reflections. The atmosphere was marked by openness, prayerfulness, and a shared desire for spiritual renewal.
The recollection concluded with the celebration of the Holy Mass, bringing the gathering to a meaningful close. Participants left the activity with renewed hearts, strengthened faith, and a deep sense of gratitude as they continue their mission as educators committed to forming lives and nurturing hope.
