CJC spearheaded PACSA National Convention 2014

Cor Jesu College of Digos spearheaded the Philippine Association of Campus Student Advisers Mid-Year National Convention held at Malagos garden Resort,Davao City last July 24-26, 2014.

The activity was initiated by Dr. Rogelio P. Bayod, the chairperson of PACSA Mindanao Core Group. Dr. Bayod is also the Director of Student Services Center of Cor Jesu College Digos City. Together with his subordinates, the team hosted the Mid-Year national convention which was participated in by the different colleges and universities throughout the Philippines.

The opening program of the said event was hosted by Daisy Mae B. Llejes, the Cultural and Extra-Curricular Affairs Coordinator of Cor Jesu College. The Cor Jesu College Red Ambassador Brass Band rendered different genres of music during the ceremony. The band was headed by Dante Aguilar, the CJC band master.

The convention was a three day activity in which numerous workshops and competitions were offered by the organizers. The different sessions for student leaders and campus advisers were facilitated in by expert resource-speakers throughout Mindanao. One of the speakers was Dr. Randy Tudy, the Director of the Center for Social Development Research  of Cor Jesu College, Digos City. He discussed Compassionate Stewardship to the campus advisers.

Prof. Renato Jose Ma. Molano, the national president of PACSA recognized the effort of PACSA Mindanao Core Group. He appreciated the group for a job well done. He further emphasized the courage of Dr. Bayod for hosting the Mid-year Convention in Davao City, Mindanao.
