Zero Hunger
End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture
Cor Jesu College supports the UN Sustainable Development Goal on Zero Hunger through initiatives that address student nutrition and well-being. The Manna Program, sustained by the generosity of administrators, faculty, and staff, provides daily meals to students from low-income families, helping them stay healthy and focused on their studies. The College also promotes nutrition awareness through class activities, student campaigns, and faculty guidance. Future plans include developing a campus vegetable garden, strengthening sustainable food sourcing, and partnering with local farmers. These efforts reflect CJC’s commitment to compassion, community involvement, and long-term food security for its learners.
